Laser epilation is the most lasting and most effective way to remove unwanted hair, from almost all parts of the body. During the epilation, the hair itself drives the laser beam to its root, where practically the hair splashes out of heat and destroys its root. From treatment to treatment, this hair loss is getting bigger and the hair that appears after laser epilation becomes thinner and brighter. By damaging hair roots, its growth slows down considerably. Preparation for first treatment requires no hair removal for three to four weeks before coming to treatment. During this time, you can use depilation creams, scissors or razors, and for a review it is enough to have only one millimeter of hair. Also, patients need to get epilation with the natural skin color.
Epilation pain exists when the air hits the root of the hair. If the patient is hypersensitive, cream form anesthetic is applied on the skin. It makes the epilation painless. Skin after treatment is slightly red and sometimes slightly swollen in the next few hours, usually two to three, and at most 24 hours. It is recommended skin washing with mild soap and not irritating the treated area 24 hours after the epilation. Changes in the blood vessels of the skin are small capillary or vein networks on the nose, cheeks, beard and malformations of the lower extremity vessels and other parts of the body, with a very clear distinction between subdermal and intradermal veins, red and bluish capillary networks.
Causes are usually hereditary predispositions, cardiovascular system disorders, traumatic or similar consequences of surgeries. Also, varicose diseases that follow pregnancy and childbirth are the main factors for appearance of changes in the blood vessels of the foot skin.
Traditional methods are limited to electrocoagulation, sclerotherapy and surgical removal of veins and other blood vessels. All of these methods have serial essential deficiencies such as hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation (the disappearance of skin pigment), allergic reactions to injected drugs in sclerotherapy.
The most effective method for treating blood vessels is provided by Nd: YAG lasers. The emission of this laser type makes possible efficiently treating enlarged capillaries, star hemangiomas and small dermal vein networks without any damage of other structures.
Therapeutic effect of the laser is based on the unique feature of laser light to interact with the treated tissue. Laser removal of non-aesthetic blood vessels, by using a unique technology of 1064nm Nd: YAG lasers, emits light impulses, whose energy absorbs hemoglobin in the blood. Energy is transformed into a heat that leads to blood coagulation and a specific welding of unwanted blood vessels. It removes blood vessels and the bloodstream is routed to the veins that lie deep beneath the surface of the skin. Our laser treats with those visible, separated or mesh capillaries of the body and face, spider shaped veins of diameter of up to 1.5 mm, veins on the legs 1-3 mm in diameter, inborn or acquired hemangiomas, etc.
Patients describe that feeling during the treatment as a mild sting of the needle. A special cooling system reduces the unpleasant feeling and prevents the warming of healthy skin.
Duration of treatment depends on the number and density of the treated blood vessels. For example, in the case of a starry hemangioma, the treatment lasts a few seconds. This is not the case with a large number of capillaries on the lower extremities, it takes much more time.
Number of treatments depends on the type, color, configuration and number of blood vessels. Often two treatments are sufficient to achieve the result, with the second treatment being performed no later than 3 to 4 weeks after the first treatment. In cases where multiple blood vessels form a capillary network, it is possible that more than two treatments will be required. However, apparent reduction of capillaries is noticeable after each individual treatment.
In the case of treating the individual blood vessels (for example on the nostrils) or those of a star form, the blood vessels disappear in 2-3 weeks. In a large number of blood vessels, the result comes gradually with every next treatment.
Consequences after the procedure are a slight redness with a small swelling on the treated zone for a day or two. The blood vessel gets darker after the treatment and for 2-3 to 4 weeks is absorbed from the body and disappears. After the treatment, a protective skin cream must be used, especially during the warmer part of the year, in order to avoid hyperpigmentation. Corrective make up can be applied to the treated zone.
Treated blood vessels do not appear again, but if there is a predisposition, it is possible that a new blood vessel will appear around the treated zone. These blood vessels can also be treated.

Laser removal of enlarged capillaries
The enlarged capillaries on cheeks, nose and other parts of the face and body are a very frequent aesthetic problem. Sometimes 2-3 treatments need to be done to achieve optimum results, at intervals of 4-6 weeks. In the treated area there might be a redness and mild swelling for a few hours to two days. Laser removal of capillaries on legs
The enlarged capillaries on legs are linear and spider shaped enlargement of the capillaries, veins and arterioles that occur in about 35% of women. Sclerosis is the most successful method of treating larger capillaries on legs and our laser can successfully remove smaller capillaries, with a diameter of 0.05-0.5mm. Some capillaries can be completely closed even after the first treatment. Side effects that can occur are pain, inflammation and transient increase in visibility of capillaries. In some cases hyperpigmentation may occur for up to 6 weeks. No foot compression is required after laser treatment, but it is advisable to avoid exposure to the sun for the next 2 months.
What preparation is required for laser treatment removal?
It is absolutely important that skin before treatment is not exposed to the sun, because it reduces the effectiveness and increases the risk of skin reactions. Avoiding sun exposure is necessary 6 weeks before treatment. It is advisable to stop taking Aspirin, Ibuprofen and similar antirheumatics seven days before treatment to avoid the appearance of bruises. Also, not consuming alcoholic beverages and appling cream with retinoids and glycolic acid two days before treatment. Two weeks before treatment not taking vitamin E, ginseng, ginger, garlic, echinacea.
How does the skin look after the treatment of capillary removal?
Laser treated areas of the skin take reddish color, a small swelling can appear like sunburn for several hours to 2 days. Sometimes a small surface of the skin can be purple or blue color, such as bruises, what disappears in about a week. Skin can be covered by make up after 24 hours after treatment. It is strictly forbidden exposure to the sun for a month after treatment and it is necessary to use creams with protective factors spf 30 in order to prevent the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
